Because I feel bad if I don’t reblog…
STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters… S.T..R …
My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.
During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance)
They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)
She had suffered a stroke at the party . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today.
Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this…
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Remember the ‘3’ steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster.
The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :
S * Ask the individual to SMILE ..
T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg ‘It is sunny out today’).
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
NOTE : Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is
1. Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue.
2. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.
A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.
And it could be your own.
First reblog post that actually saves a life.
This is a life-saving post.
the more you know
yeah don’t think that this can’t happen to you or someone you know if they’re young. my cousin’s wife is 33 and she had a stroke last year
I’ve had a stroke. It happens to people, and the more you know about this kind of stuff, the better.Because it could be important to know.
LIVE SAVING. WOOOAHH. REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG
Had a family member almost die of one, so signal boosting because you never know when you could save a life.
This happened to my mom too. We were at a birthday party. She was pushing one of my nieces on the swings and felt a little dizzy. She stumbled a little, but didn’t fell and said she was OK. The party continued as if nothing happened. Fifteen minutes later, I noticed her mouth was a little crooked. We got in the car immediately and when we arrived at the hospital, she couldn’t move her left side. Less than half an hour had passed since she felt dizzy. It’s been 6 years and she regained most of her mobility with therapy and a lot of will power. Please reblog, this information can help save lives.
OKAY I’m gonna do it anyway. I wanted to do something nice for Christmas so, reblog this before Christmas and I’ll draw a cutie (something like this///) based on your blog!
Will it be a boy, will it be a girl?? Happy or sad?? Colorful or bw? I will look trough your blog and base it on your theme/posts/maybe even selfies if i happen to find some~
It’s like the olympic closing ceremony…
funny story about these, i had a red one on my birthday and everyone was like “wow this is the coolest fucking thing ever” and it plays music and all that, but when it came to actually eating the cake and taking the candle out, there was no off switch, so we had to smash it to pieces in the back garden to shut it up. turns out if you smash it up the music box still works. when i was in bed at 3am i could hear something so i opened the window, and it sounded like a tune you would hear in a horror movie before someone gets their body ripped to shreds and eaten. sleep well munchkins. you dont want this fucking thing.
^^^^^^^^MY MOTHER BOUGHT THIS FOR ME WHEN I TURNED 14 IT DIDNT STOP PLAYING WE DROWNED IT FOR 5 HOURS AND IT STARTED PLAYING THE SECOND YOU TOOK IT OUT OF THE WATER MY BROTHER SMASHED IT AGAINST THE WALL 5 TIMES IT DIDNT STOP MY MOTHER THREW IT OUT 3 BLOCKS AWAY
i love how every single time i see this there’s a new horror story about this candle
They have a lil wire somewhere near the first candle, you cut it and it’ll stop. There nightmares over, you can thank me later.
“If you say that a woman wearing revealing clothes deserves to be sexually assaulted, you are saying that a woman’s body is inherently deserving of rape. That women are inherently deserving of rape. That women have to make sure their body is hidden in order not to deserve to be raped. That is misogyny in its purest form.”(via fawun)

What’s not fine is telling someone they can’t love another person because it doesn’t fit into the confinements of a label.
Since my eyes couldn’t handle the 3D of a bigger screen (and I do cherish my old 3DS too much), I’ve decided to make someone on tumblr happy with their very own Pikachu Limited Edition 3DS XL! I’m really excited to be doing this, and I can just hope it will make someone smile.
No, I won’t be selling it. I am not obligated to answer why, because if you honestly want me to sell it, my answer won’t be sufficient for you. Message me off anon if you’re really dying to know.

We have been following the Stubenville Rape Trial very closely over the past few months. (Click Here)
A Verdict was handed down in the Stubenville Rape Case. Trent Mays and Ma’lik Richmondwere were found guilty. This is a positive step towards justice for the victim. Videos hacked by Anonymous and released to the world indicate that many more were involved but no further charges have been filed…..yet.
CNN’s on-air anchors’ reaction to the verdict was abominable. Objectivity and Journalistic integrity went out the window as they seemed more concerned with the 16 & 17 year old Rapists then they did the 16 year Rape victim because they did not mention her ONCE. This is unacceptable. The rapists had the gall to brag about their crime to friends and tweet about it after the fact. These boys were found guilty by a court of law. They deserve no sympathy, no empathy. Yes, their lives may be ruined as they will forever be labeled as rapists. That is the choice they made when they forced themselves onto the victim.
IMO, CNN should issue a formal apology to the victim and her family.
This is why I love Anonymous.
FUCK THESE IGNORANT ASS BITCHES FROM CNN
